Research Focus

My research interests lie at the intersection of behavioral economics, game theory, decision theory, and computational social science, with a focus on understanding and improving collective decision-making and institutional design.

I am particularly interested in bridging theoretical mathematical modeling with behavioral experiments and empirical data: using experiments to test assumptions about human behavior, incorporating these findings into formal models, and deriving new experimentally testable predictions.

Key questions include how cognitive biases, social preferences, and strategic interactions shape collective outcomes; how structural conditions such as economic inequality influence individual behavior, cooperation, and beliefs; and how institutions and social dynamics can reinforce or mitigate inequality and polarization.

My broader goal is to combine mathematical rigor with empirical approaches to better understand the interplay between individual behavior and social structures, and to design fairer and more effective institutions.
