- 1998 - 2002 Completed a Bachelor of Economics / Bachelor of Arts (Parallel Degree) at the University of Queensland, Australia
- 2003 Completed honors degree in Economics, School of Economics, University of Queensland.
- 2004 Admitted as a Phd candidate to the Max Planck Institute of Economics, Jena. Dissertation project: "The Long Run Evolution of Consumer Preferences".
